$594,000 for Upgrades to Eastern Suburbs' Worst Intersection
There will be major improvements to the four-way intersection at New South Head Road, Bellevue Road, Cross Street and Kiaora Road in Double Bay after Member for Vaucluse and NSW Opposition Leader, Kellie Sloane helped secure $594,000 in funding. Early last year, Kellie Sloane launched a major community campaign, calling on the NSW Government to fix this dangerous intersection, which has recorded nine injuries in crashes since 2019.

Liberals and Nationals to Collaborate with Communities to Deliver More Homes
The NSW Liberals and Nationals will restore the voice of local communities in how homes are delivered and targets met under a new Low and Mid Rise (LMR) Alternate Plan Pathway. The announcement comes as the Minns Labor Government's flagship LMR policy continues to significantly underperform. The Government promised the policy would deliver 112,000 homes over five years, yet as of February 2026 only 4,900 homes had been approved under the scheme; just 22 per cent of where the policy should have been two years into its rollout.

Kellie Sloane Calls for Permanent Shark Net at Nielsen Park
Calls are growing for the Minns Labor Government to install a permanent, year-round shark net at Nielsen Park to give local families and swimmers certainty at one of Sydney Harbour’s most treasured swimming spots. Member for Vaucluse and NSW Leader of the Opposition, Kellie Sloane, said increased shark activity in the harbour and changing seasonal temperatures meant the longstanding approach of removing the net in cooler months was no longer practical.

Shark Beach is one of the most loved swimming spots in Sydney Harbour, and families across greater Sydney and beyond have been coming to Nielsen Park for generations to swim and enjoy the park.

Opposition Commits to Landmark 10 Year Men and Boy's Health Strategy
NSW Opposition Leader, Kellie Sloane has announced that a Liberals and Nationals Government would deliver a dedicated 10-year Men and Boy’s Health Strategy by the end of 2027. The Opposition also committed to hosting a two-day Men’s Health Summit next year, bringing together health professionals, men and boy’s health organisations, researchers and men’s health advocates to help inform and shape the delivery of the Strategy. Leading men’s health organisations from across NSW joined the Liberals and Nationals at NSW Parliament where Ms Sloane said she wanted the state to have the best health outcomes for men and boys in Australia.

Speech - Men's Health Public Interest Debate
Thank you Mr Speaker, I move: That this house – Notes 50% of deaths in males aged under 75 are potentially avoidable through earlier intervention, improved access to healthcare and lifestyle support. Notes over 75% of deaths by suicide in NSW are men and suicide remains the leading cause of death for men aged 15-44. Acknowledges that the barriers men and boys face in accessing physical and mental health supports represent a serious public health challenge for the over four million men and boys living in NSW.

Daily Telegraph Article - Leading Aussies Demand Council Stop 'Dangerous' Intifada Event
Prominent Australians have called on federal and state governments to urgently step in and stop a forum at a council-owned building advocating for the right to use the slogan “globalise the intifada”, which is considered by many in the Jewish community as a call for violence. Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott, ex-Treasurer Josh Frydenberg, Olympic legend Dawn Fraser and Indigenous Olympic gold medallist Nova Peris have demanded the City of Sydney cancel the forum.

Letter to Clover Moore - Globalise the Intifada Event
I am writing to you to ask that you immediately cancel the, 'globalise the intifada' event to be hosted at a City of Sydney-owned facility on the fifth of May. Just over four months ago, NSW - and my local community - was shaken by Australia's worst terrorist attack. This targeted attack on the Australian Jewish community occurred in an environment of deteriorating social cohesion and increasing antisemitism in our state.

Easts Rugby Opens New Women's Changerooms
Member for Vaucluse and NSW Opposition Leader, Kellie Sloane today joined Easts Rugby Club to officially open the brand-new women's change room facilities at Rose Bay, marking a significant milestone for female participation in rugby across Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The new change rooms were supported with $1.8 million in funding from the former NSW Liberal Government and will provide dedicated, modern facilities for women and girls at the club. Member for Vaucluse Kellie Sloane said the opening was a great moment for the local community.

Eastern Suburbs Sporting Groups Score Funding Boost
Community sport in Sydney’s east is set for a lift after the Member for Vaucluse and NSW Opposition Leader, Kellie Sloane, announced funding for four local sporting organisations. Easts Junior Beasties RUFC received support for its initiative to help drive female participation in the sport. Shark Island Paddlers will expand opportunities for women and emerging paddlers, and Sydney Convicts Rugby Club will boost engagement through its community outreach and international Bingham Cup involvement.
